Kay Ann (Garrow) Milligan

Newark – Kay Ann (Garrow) Milligan, 65 entered the open arms of Jesus on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Clifton Springs Hospital.

     There will be no prior calling hours. Family invite friends to a celebration of her life on Monday (August 29) at 6:30 at the Assembly of God Church of Newark, 1088 Hartnagle Rd, Newark.

     In memory of Kay, in lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider donating blood to the American Red Cross or to the family of Cameron Altenhof, who has been in St. Jude Children’s Hospital for several weeks. Make donations to his mother Ardan Altenhof., c/o the funeral home.

     Kay was born the daughter of Verne and Carrie (Fizette) Garrow on Tuesday, April 24, 1951 in Potsdam, NY. She attended Clyde-Savannah High School. Kay was a retired school bus driver for the Newark Central Schools. She enjoyed Karaoke and karate and would often go to the martial arts training in Newark to support the students. However, the most important thing in life was her family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

     Kay will be lovingly remembered by her husband Steven Milligan; sons Zack (Amanda) Milligan and Steve Lewis; daughters Juli (Stephen) Price and Amy Lovely; grandchildren Alena and Tim Greenough; great grandchildren Naomi, Alana, Julia, Michael and Jade; mother Carrie Garrow; sisters Elaine (David) Whiteford, Dayle Garrow and her partner Steve Baker; many nieces and nephews.

        Kay was predeceased by her father Verne Garrow.
