Traditional
services...
... include
a visitation, funeral in the church and burial. Embalming is not
required by law. However, if an open-casket is desired, it is policy
of the funeral home that embalming is necessary.
Graveside
services...
... take place
at the burial site. There are usually no services at the funeral
home or church. There may be a visitation before graveside services.
If Cremation
is chosen...
... there
are many options. A visitation and funeral can also take place before
the cremation. Some families prefer direct cremation, with no visitation
or funeral. A memorial service can be conducted after the cremation.
